Saturn Satellite Networks (SSN) designs and develops satellite for communication solutions. Its proprietary Nationsat is a small 4kW GEO communication satellite that provides video and data communications applications. It claims that it has also developed Slot Saver Satellite (S3) satellite that can BIU any required frequency bands in the GEO arc in C, Ku or Ka-bands. As of December 2019, it plans to provide the S3 as a system or from 2020 it can provide BIU services for many operators. Its in-house technology includes Digital Transponder(DMT)- Its functions include digital channelization, digital mixing, and routing traffic to the appropriate output path; and Hisat developed by Novaworks is an expandable satellite bus that allows varying power and size of the bus to scale from 100W to 100kW.
