Cyclos is developer of resonant clock mesh technology which employs on chip inductors to form an oscillating tank circuit. These inductors and clock control circuits recycle the clock power instead of dissipating it on every clock cycle as conventional clock tree implementations do. This leads to reduction in total IC power consumption of upto 10 percent as claimed by Cyclos. AMD was the first user to count on Cyclos lower power clock IP in its AMD x86 core. Cyclos has also partnered with Global foundaries to develop processors using resonant clock mash technology.
