Drager is a German based company which consists of two divisions- Safety Division and Medical Division. In the safety division, the company provides hazard management solutions with a focus on personal safety and protecting production facilities, and includes stationary and mobile gas detection systems, respiratory protection, fire fighting equipment, professional diving gear, and alcohol and drug-testing instruments. In the Medical division, the company offers products such as anesthesia workstations, medical ventilation, patient monitoring as well as neonatal care for premature babies and newborns. As of Nov 2016, Drager is present in more than 190 countries and it has sales and service subsidiaries in over 40 countries. Its development and production facilities are based in Germany, Great Britain, Sweden, South Africa, the USA, Brazil, the Czech Republic and China. Drager became an IPO company in 2010.
