TOPAZ Technologies provides animal and clinical research software. Products include Compliance Suite for compliance management and has solutions including Animal Protocols, Human Protocols, Biosafety Protocols and Conflict Disclosures, Operations Suite which comprises of solutions for project management including animal ordering and tracking to animal breeding and billing and Management Suite which has solutions to manage and schedule institution’s staff training, animal care, and facility sanitation and maintenance requirements. It was funded by Chisholm Private Capital and Woodside Fund and was acquired by Guidemore (Guidemore was formed by members of the Topaz management team, along with private equity investors, to purchase Topaz from the venture capital investors. The project, managed by FOCUS Managing Partner and CEO Doug Rodgers, provided a positive exit for the investors).
