Wyevale Garden Centres (previously The Garden Centre Group) is a retail chain of garden centers, establishments where plants and gardening equipments are sold. As of May, 2016, they operate around 153 garden centers across England and Wales. They offers seeds and plants such as roses, soft fruits, herbs, grass and bamboo, perennials, hedging plants, cornifers, ornamental trees, ferns, rockery, etc. They also offer a line of garden furniture. As of May, 2016, they were developing an online e-commerce platform. They have acquired a range of garden centres, brands and small chains, with the acquisition of Dobbies chain being the most recent. Listed in the London Stock Exchange in 1987. In 2009, Baugur Group had a majority stake in the company but after its collapse the Bank of Scotland became the majority owner following a debt-for-equity deal. Terra Firma acquired the company in March 2012.
