The country is home to 11 unicorns. A total of 1,770 investors have participated in 2,166 funding rounds, with 144 startups securing early-stage funding and 82 raising late-stage funding. In the last five years, 1,429 new companies have been founded, raising over $3.72B in funding. Startups in Mexico have witnessed 491 acquisitions and 440 IPOs, while 3,271 startups wrapped up operations. Additionally, 457 companies have been founded by women.
