Startup Landscape in Peru

Peru has over 5,364 startups across the country. Of these, 667 are funded companies that have collectively raised $16.5B in venture capital and private equity. A total of 335 investors have participated in 665 funding rounds, with 19 startups securing early-stage funding and 10 raising late-stage funding. In the last five years, 363 new companies have been founded, raising over $12.8M in funding. Startups in Peru have witnessed 167 acquisitions and 42 IPOs, while 808 startups wrapped up operations. Additionally, 113 companies have been founded by women.
