Company Details
Provider of biological preservation techniques for preserving the brain. The company uses chemical fixative glutaraldehyde to rapidly solidify synapses and prevent decay. The glutaraldehyde rapidly binds to everything it can, transforming the brain from a soft, watery consistency to that of soft rubber. This process is called fixation and has been used for decades to preserve biological samples including brains, various organs, and even entire animals. The preserved brain is then vitrified by storing it at -122°C for long-term preservation.
