Airwave Oscillometry is a method for measuring lung function without patient effort and is a form of the Forced Oscillation Technique (FOT). The tremoFlo C-100 measures lung function by superimposing a gentle multi-frequency airwave onto the patient’s respiratory airflow. Throughout the AOS measurement, the patient just breathes normally.
