Lebanon has over 3,105 startups across the country. Of these, 454 are funded companies that have collectively raised $1.51B in venture capital and private equity. A total of 174 investors have participated in 522 funding rounds, with 22 startups securing early-stage funding and 4 raising late-stage funding. In the last five years, 196 new companies have been founded, raising over $267K in funding. Startups in Lebanon have witnessed 27 acquisitions and 34 IPOs, while 511 startups wrapped up operations. Additionally, 113 companies have been founded by women.
