A total of 9,669 investors have participated in 16,232 funding rounds, with 1,267 startups securing early-stage funding and 456 raising late-stage funding. In the last five years, 13,479 new companies have been founded, raising over $11B in funding. Startups in MENA have witnessed 2,657 acquisitions and 2,285 IPOs, while 21,182 startups wrapped up operations. Additionally, 3,224 companies have been founded by women.
