Startup Landscape in Morocco

Morocco has over 4,911 startups across the country. Of these, 460 are funded companies that have collectively raised $3.4B in venture capital and private equity. A total of 208 investors have participated in 554 funding rounds, with 24 startups securing early-stage funding and 20 raising late-stage funding. In the last five years, 789 new companies have been founded, raising over $29.7M in funding. Startups in Morocco have witnessed 83 acquisitions and 21 IPOs, while 793 startups wrapped up operations. Additionally, 52 companies have been founded by women.
