Startup Landscape in Morocco

Morocco has over 4,280 startups across the country. Of these, 447 are funded companies that have collectively raised $3.27B in venture capital and private equity. A total of 197 investors have participated in 525 funding rounds, with 23 startups securing early-stage funding and 19 raising late-stage funding. In the last five years, 574 new companies have been founded, raising over $25M in funding. Startups in Morocco have witnessed 79 acquisitions and 12 IPOs, while 794 startups wrapped up operations. Additionally, 52 companies have been founded by women.
