AngelSense is a wearable device for children with special needs. It is based on an analytic server that processes the GPS data and automatically builds the schedule of the child throughout the day and identifies deviations from it. If the child runs away, the parent can switch the system to a special Runner Mode which increases the frequency of location updates to every 10 seconds. It also lets the parent hear the child’s surroundings. To help find someone that is lost indoors it triggers a sound in the device to try and locate someone indoors with the ability to listen-in providing further help. The parent is provided a special magnetic key to detach the device so the child does not remove it accidentally.
