Finxera provides APIs which allow non-financial institutions to collect, store and send money, in compliance with regulatory requirements. The platform lets developers integrate payment services within their apps including credit card payments, ACH transfers, peer-to-peer payments, multi-party transactions, wire transfers and check acceptance. Its technology consists of Core Engine (handles transaction lifecycle), connector layer (connects the core engines to external systems like NACHA, bill payment networks, banks and card processors) and API layer (to integrate payments in the apps). Finxera is PCI compliant, it has a money transmitter license, and all its stored value accounts are FDIC insured through partnerships with banks. Its product BancBox Crowd is the first escrow API for crowd investing. Finxera manages $100 million in consumer deposits daily in nearly 200,000 individual accounts.
