KAMAX produces and develops new real-time imaging systems, based on the polarization of light to diagnose cancerous tissues. The technology is can be used for both in-vitro diagnosis(analyzing biopsy samples) and in-vivo diagnosis(endo-microscopy) for cancer diagnosis. Apart from this, the technology also has possible applications in geology(minereological analysis of rocks), and microelectronics. The technology is the outcome of CNRS-XLIM and the University of Limoges research projects. KAMAX patented technology combines two elements: a system of scanning based on the polarimetry that permits real time view of the cancerous tissues and an offset through endoscopic optical fiber transferred by a beam catheter in the areas difficult to access.
