Company Details

Voyage is developing a complete self-driving taxi service. The company aims to run the service entirely by not only creating the ride-hailing platform through which it will operate but also aims to create self-driving cars as part of its fleet of taxis. It aims to create the self-driving cars without requiring ground-up vehicle creation by using retrofits to existing vehicles to add autonomous capabilities relying on voice input from the drivers to get the ride going, control music and make stops. It is a spin-off of Udacity and born out of its autonomous efforts and claims to have secured permission to start operating test vehicles with passenger trials.
