WaveStorm developed hardware and software solutions for integrators, key accounts, carriers and small businesses to provide wireless connectivity to any kind of devices and accessibility services to the end-user. Its chief product included CNX 111 and CNX 210. CNX 111 was a WiFi 2.4GHz communication module that integrated into mid-range, battery-fueled machines to add the wireless functionality. Both the modules came with 200MHz ARM9 processor and embedded Linux OS, making it adaptable for specific needs of the user. In addition, it offered a platform for managing the devices embedded in the communication modules offered by the company. The company had also developed SiteNEXUS which was an offering built around an open source platform for large accounts and operators to offer a hotspot service to remote sites. Partnered with Starbucks France to implement its WiFi solution and Meccano to build and manufacture the electronics including the WiFi board. In 2007, it received a grant of $ 427850.25 from Osseo Anvar, a public agency dedicated to the promotion of innovation. As of January 2019, the company is defunct.
