The country is home to 52 unicorns. A total of 18,097 investors have participated in 13,577 funding rounds, with 1,306 startups securing early-stage funding and 421 raising late-stage funding. In the last five years, 15,375 new companies have been founded, raising over $13.9B in funding. Startups in Southeast Asia have witnessed 2,733 acquisitions and 5,174 IPOs, while 29,333 startups wrapped up operations. Additionally, 4,705 companies have been founded by women.
